For the third act we climbed to our friend Bri’s rooftop and settled in for a sunset serenade of ‘Stubborn Love’. Surrounding our nest in the Mission of San Francisco, sleepy neighbors were taken by pleasant surprise as the band invaded the silence. Some opened their windows and some migrated to their own rooftops for a better look. Listeners quickly turned musicians as the crowd began to play their keys and echo the lyrics “keep your head up, keep your love.”
Enjoy this one, we sure did.
For the final number, The Lumineers slow danced into a quiet saloon to sing “Classy Girls” and to remind everyone that not all bars are for kissing, depending on who you’re with. Luckily for us we had the freedom to stomp our feet, sing and kiss whoever we damn well pleased.
