This cubist-named Swiss band has an insolent maturity about them. Their first EP, which reminded us the Velvet Underground and Pavement, earned critical success for its nervous compositions. Here, with “Jesse James (the gentle burial of an hero)”, the Mondrians storm the garage scene. They’re currently recording their first album, slated for a September release.
